Why a 4x4 conversation matters
Gonarezhou Conservation Trust advises at least a high-clearance vehicle and recommends high-clearance four-wheel drive wherever possible. For remote corners and sand-river crossings it also recommends travelling with two vehicles and recovery gear. The Save-Runde entrance near Mahenye specifically requires 4x4. We use that reality as the starting point instead of promising access we cannot verify.
What we can arrange
Pre-arranged transfer or support-vehicle discussions can cover passengers, luggage, extra water, camp supplies, pickup timing, route coordination and recovery equipment. Park fees, accommodation, guiding and entry permissions remain separate.
For self-drive visitors
If you already have your own 4x4, local support may be more useful than another rental. Ask about convoy or support-vehicle options. Exact service depends on route, season, vehicle condition and access rules.
